The Transition Lab
Welcome to The Transition Lab! Through workshops, discussions and prototype building, we test and develop various ideas that can contribute to Gothenburg's transition to a more sustainable city.
The Transition Lab has a 55 sqm makerspace for indoor activities and an outdoor stage in the courtyard. There is also a mobile outdoor kitchen for cooking together.
During the summer, the exhibition “Show me don’t tell me” is displayed on the scaffolding that surrounds The Transition Lab.
The site has been designed and built as a collage of different architects, artists and students. The majority of the materials used are recycled. In the image next to this text, you can see an illustration of the different parts and who is behind them.
