About Wilmer Apelgren
Gothenburg native Wilmer Apelgren released the single “Kommer alltid hit igen” (Always Coming Back Here) in conjunction with Gothenburg’s 400th anniversary. The song is a tribute to the city he grew up in and always returns to. Wilmer has a choir background – gospel and harmony singing are recurring themes in his soul, pop, and funk-influenced music. Now, he takes the stage in Bältespännarparken during the inauguration of Jubileumskompassen.

The Outdoor Exhibition
The outdoor exhibition about Gothenburg’s 400th anniversary is part of Jubileumskompassen. It is located in Bältespännarparken and Milleniumplatsen (near Stora Teatern) during the summer and autumn of 2023. Take a leisurely stroll and read about various anniversary initiatives, why we celebrate and how ideas have become reality.
