The interest in maps has increased sharply for a few years, and in 2019 The Local History Association decided to produce a Map Book, “Gothenburg – 400 years through maps.” In order to be able to assimilate the maps, we decided to make the Map Book in the largest format that could be bound. The authors are all well-known writers of “Göteborgiana.” The Map Book is completely unique among the publications of Jubileumslitteratur.
