Living in a changing world is not easy, but through sharing thoughts, feelings and desires we can make it more manageable. "Open Cards - Model For Existential Talks" is part of the city´s down town work (Hälsolots Centrum) to improve people´s existential/spiritual health (WHO) so that everyone feel meaning and participation.
“Open Cards – Model For Existential Talks” is part of the city´s down town work (Hälsolots Centrum) to improve people´s existential/spiritual health (WHO) so that everyone feel meaning and participation.
1984 WHO started to encourage its member countries to include a spiritual/existential dimension of health in work. This together with physical, mental and social dimensions. Hälslots Centrum and Gothenburg university started to do this in 2016 with talks on existential issues in different libraries.
The idea to make a collection of cards that could help people from different backgrounds, beliefs and values to meet and talk about their ideas, feelings and wishes on the big life issues came to life. Without directing what anyone should think, feel and wish in any direction “Open Cards – Model For Existential Talks” have exististed in three verisons since the start.
When Gothenburg now celebrates it´s 400 year we are happy to release Open Cards 2023 in swedish.
