Liljewall is an architectural firm founded in 1980 in Gothenburg, which means that we have had the privilege of shaping everyday life through our architecture for more than 43 years. Not least in Gothenburg, where we among other things, have worked on a significant share of the total housing stock within Bostad 2021. Today, we are one of Sweden’s leading firms with employees in Gothenburg, Stockholm, and Malmö who develop and have fun together. Our offering and competencies span a broad range, which allows us to create architecture and living environments for society as a whole and for all stages of life.
Currently, we are actively working to contribute to the transformation of the construction industry to move towards a circular economy. On this journey, we bring with us experience and knowledge ranging from refurbishing projects and transformation of buildings and building components to research on new recycled materials. Together with our clients and partners, we want to become a part of the solution by creating a long-term sustainable and climate-neutral architecture.
Also, we are a socially engaged and inclusive firm that keen to take responsibility for the society we are helping to build. Therefore, we participate in Prototyp Gothenburg to invite dialogue and share our knowledge. Among other things, we will appear on stage on June 2nd under the theme “Forum: Democracy and Social Sustainability.” Additionally, we will also organize a selection of anniversary activities as a contribution to the city.
