Home / Focus 2015: Created by and Including Young People
24 September 2020

Gothenburg has high amibitions to be a child and youth city and therefore the young perspective is particularly important for the city’s decision makers. A priority goal in the city’s budget is that “young citizens of Gothenburg should be given more opportunities to influence”. It was a wish in the idea gathering – the young people want greater influence.

During 2015, the anniversary work had extra focus on the young people’s initiatves and influence.

Three priorities issues during the year:

  • Strengthen the platforms for young people’s influence that already exist in the city.
  • Match young skills and initiatives with real need from companies.
  • Document and communicate the results.
