Clandestino Festival
Since 2003, Clandestino has contributed to creating an exciting cultural life in Gothenburg, characterized by curiosity, diversity and international perspectives.
Clandestino Institute is a network of cultural workers, artists and researchers who have organized alternative educations, art exhibitions and a number of other cultural projects since the beginning of the 21st century.
Among the most notable projects is Clandestino Festival, which has taken place annually since 2003. Other projects in the institute’s history include literary events, creative writing courses and publications.
The institute is run as a non-profit association based in Gothenburg. The activity is mainly financed with public support from the State Cultural Council, the Västra Götaland Region’s Cultural Committee, the City of Gothenburg and collaborations with a number of different venues and institutions in Sweden.
