Jubileumskompassen in Bältespännarparken
Welcome to Jubileumskompassen in Bältesspännarparken! Here you'll get information about everything exciting that is happening during the Gothenburg’s Anniversary Celebration this summer, as well as take part in the program. You'll find the compass in the middle of town, in Bältesspännarparken.

Regardless of whether you have a specific question about the program or just want to know more about how we are celebrating Gothenburg’s 400th anniversary, you are welcome here. On site, you’ll meet anniversary experts who can help you navigate the packed program and see what activities and experiences are right for you. It is also from here that several of the summer’s guided tours will start.
A scene that offers a taste of the program
In Jubileumskompassen, you can also experience the celebration in mini format. On a small stage, parts of the program will be shown in the form of talks, theatres, workshops and performances. And in Jubileumkompassen’s program you can find everything from graffiti workshops, author talks and clothes swapping days to funkisfestivals and children’s dances.
Welcome to sit down and take a break
There will be deckchairs available, games, crayons and paper for the childre, and more. So just drop by and settle down. You can also take your lunch or coffee with you and enjoy it here while taking part in the stage program. Right next to it are food trucks and a coffee cart.
Gothenburg’s 400th anniversary exhibition
In the park Bältespännarparken and on the square Milleniumplatsen, you can see a large outdoor exhibition showing what we have achieved together for the 400th anniversary. Here, you can read about why we are celebrating, how the ideas have become reality and a wide range of anniversary initiatives. You will also find plenty of tips and inspiration on how to experience the anniversary celebrations around the city.
